Rick helped revolutionize technology marketing working on Microsoft and Intel business, including the launch of Microsoft Xbox/Surface/Windows/Phone and Intel P4M/Centrino/Duo Core. Rick also helped make ING synonymous with running in the United States 2003-2013 with the first Title Sponsorship of the New York City Marathon and the ING Run For Something Better Foundation (www.orangelaces.com). Rick drew up the strategic plans and activation solutions that made each of these brands top of mind with both consumers and customers. The relationships he nurtured sustained and grew these client relationships, along with Best Buy, New Balance, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer for more than ten years while he was at GMR, a company he helped develop in to a world class marketing services company.
At Momentum Worldwide, Rick won the Craft Brew Alliance, Constellation Wines, and Sheraton and Westin business. Notably, he led the team that created the RunWestin Concierge program for Westin Hotels.
Now, as an independent consultant, Rick is able to give his full attention to specific clients needs without a significant amount of expense or any overhead. He has a network of boutique activation solutions that outperform most large agencies.
Rick has a wife and three wonderful kids. He is serving his 27th year as an advisor to City Parks SUMMERSTAGE in New York City. In addition, this year is his 24th year as an advisor to Celebrate Brooklyn. In his down time, Rick enjoys cycling, running, and landscaping.
